Job Overview

First Service Air Conditioning Contractors Inc is seeking an experienced HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of mechanical construction projects. This role is responsible for leading projects from kickoff through closeout-ensuring safety, budget control, quality assurance, and on-time completion.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the planning and implementation of HVAC and plumbing construction projects
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines
• Assemble, coordinate, and manage project teams and subcontractors
• Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation
• Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
• Track deliverables using project management software and reporting tools
• Provide leadership and direction to field staff and support personnel
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with company standards and safety regulations
• Communicate consistently with stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and solutions
• Manage project changes, scope modifications, and client expectations
• Conduct project evaluations and final closeout documentation
• Maintain adherence to OSHA and company safety standards

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of construction project management experience required
• 3+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing industry experience preferred
• Qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of theoretical and practical project management principles
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
• Proven experience in people management and team leadership
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Background in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
• Strong blueprint and mechanical system interpretation skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

• Projects located throughout the surrounding West Texas region
