ABA Nanny

The Elite Nanny Team (TENT Group)

Washington DC, Washington · United States

Happiness is everything to our full-time and part-time childcare providers. Developing a close relationship with a nanny family involves commitment and love. It is a close bond that makes every day have meaning, brings you joy, and helps you laugh. The parents depend on your reliability, engagement, and intelligence. Our clients offer generous benefits, plentiful vacation time, and an excellent wage for full-time employees. As a former nanny, the owner knows how important it is to care for kids in a fair and reasonable environment to share your childcare expertise. Our goal is for you to develop a long-lasting relationship with your nanny family.

About the Special Needs Nanny Family
The parents are both originally from Duluth and met in college. They love to travel the world and hope to resume traveling one day. They frequently take short trips to New York to see a play as they love the theater. In addition, they want their future nanny to be able to stay overnights with Lo on occasion. The parents are incredibly thoughtful and caring individuals. Their personal and professional lives are very organized, clean, and structured.

Lo is 3yo and has high-functioning autism. Lo is a big fan of Harry Potter and Tik Tok. At most meals, Lo eats pizza, and the parents would love your help expanding the nutritional palette. Reading is FUNdamental in this family, so they try to fit in 45 minutes daily. The child attends ABA therapy twice a week, and the parents would love for you to drive Lo to the appointments.

About the Childcare Job:
The 3yo is on the spectrum due to a lack of social skills and difficulty with potty training. The full-time childcare provider will assist in following ABA techniques. There are minimal emotional fluctuations; however, it is crucial to encourage the little tyke to engage in various crafts and activities instead of repeating the same ones.

In addition to caring for the autistic child, the parents want the full-time nanny to care for the house with minimal cleaning, meal prep, household management, and overnight childcare. Also, the parents ask you to let their dog into the backyard.
