Gastroenterologist - Call Coverage Mississippi (Job ID: 51181)

A healthcare facility in Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for ongoing call coverage. This assignment begins with confirmed coverage in early September and offers the potential for additional call opportunities as future schedules become available. ERCP and EUS are not required.

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Start Date: September 4, 2026
• Initial Coverage: September 4-8, 2026
• Ongoing call coverage opportunities available
• Coverage: 24-hour beeper call
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Admissions required
• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Gastroenterology fellowship required
• Active Mississippi medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience performing:
  • Upper GI endoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
  • Esophageal dilation and manometry
  • Small bowel biopsy
  • Management of inpatient GI consults
• ERCP and EUS experience not required
