Critical Care/Trauma Physician

Coverage: PRN / Full-Time

A large acute-care hospital in Ohio is seeking Critical Care Physicians (Intensivists) to provide weekend ICU coverage. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking consistent weekend work in a closed ICU with strong clinical and
staffing support.

Position Overview:

• Specialty: Critical Care / Intensivist
• Practice Setting: Inpatient, Closed ICU
• ICU Size: 18 beds
• Trauma Level: Level II
• EMR: Epic
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Upcoming Dates Include:

• Feb 27 Mar 2 Apr May 2 3 Jun Aug 1 2 Aug Sep Oct 3 4 Oct

Clinical Details:

• Average ICU census: 18 patients
• Average admissions per day: 3 4
• No non-ICU inpatient rounding
• Case mix includes cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, and surgical critical care

Required Skills & Procedures:

• Invasive and non-invasive ventilation (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy, BiPAP/CPAP)
• Central lines, arterial lines, PA catheter
• Paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
  (Pulmonary Critical Care preferred; other critical care training accepted)
• Active Ohio medical license
• BLS and ACLS
