  • 4 days/week 10-hour shifts
  • 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday Friday schedule after required training
  • No after-hours call

Position Overview

The Dentist provides comprehensive dental services to residents of the Supported Living Center and select community-based individuals. This role emphasizes safe, ethical practice, advanced dental care, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and advanced dental care to improve oral health outcomes
  • Implement best and safest clinical practices
  • Complete timely and accurate charting using electronic medical and dental records
  • Develop written treatment plans with justification for irreversible procedures
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Communicate clinical information clearly and professionally
  • Comply with CMS standards, HHSC rules, MSSLC policies, and facility SOPs
  • Operate with minimal supervision while maintaining high clinical standards
