Specialized General Services is expanding local shopping cart recovery coverage in Washington. Current recruiting areas include Renton/South King County; Lynnwood/Everett/Snohomish County; Tacoma/Puyallup; Olympia and southwest Washington including Shelton, Yelm, Chehalis and Aberdeen; Vancouver/Battle Ground; and Pasco/Tri-Cities. These are separate local service areas, not a statewide driving route.
Apply for towns near your home. One contractor may cover several nearby stores when actual travel, visit frequencies and available capacity support it. Please identify exactly which towns you can reliably serve and your workable days/time windows.
Locate carts around assigned retail stores, safely secure and return them, and document visits with GPS-stamped photos and smartphone notes. Plan at least one hour per assigned visit.
1099 compensation is $40 per completed local work order / $80 per completed remote work order. Assignments and classification are confirmed first; no guaranteed volume. Provide your own reliable pickup truck or tow-capable SUV with suitable trailer, own valid drivers license, current insurance and smartphone/data. Safe cart handling is required; the office conducts background and driving-record review before placement.
