Location: Norfolk, VA (with weekly travel to Richmond, VA)Position Overview
Tidewater Staffing is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a growing appliance distribution company serving Hampton Roads and Central Virginia. This leadership role oversees warehouse operations, delivery, installation, and the managers responsible for those departments, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.Responsibilities
Lead and develop warehouse, delivery, and installation management teams.
Oversee daily operational performance across multiple locations.
Drive efficiency, productivity, and operational improvements.
Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements.
Coordinate logistics, staffing, and workflow between facilities.
Support inventory accuracy and operational planning.
Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve company objectives.
Travel to the Richmond operation approximately once per week or as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of operations, warehouse, distribution, or logistics management experience.
Experience managing managers or multiple departments preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, and decision-making abilities.
Background in warehouse, retail distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
Experience improving operational efficiency and team performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems is a plus.
