Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage Needed

• Start date: 08/24/2026 or 09/01/2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Orientation: 08/21/2026 or 08/31/2026
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (5 x 8's)
  • Room time: 0715; Anesthesia personnel typically arrive between 0630 and 0645
• Call Schedule:
  • Weekend call: one weekend per month
  • Weekday call: 1-2 days per week

Clinical Details

• Coverage Type: Operating Room & Call
• 15% Inpatient, 85% Outpatient
• Collaboration with an M.D. Anesthesiologist
• Work independently during regular hours and on call
• Cases/Procedures:
  • Mostly outpatient procedures; surgical or endoscopic
  • Some OB including labor epidurals and c-sections
  • Bread and Butter cases including ortho, endo, general surgery, urology, & ENT
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Must have experience with spinals, epidurals, venous catheters, arterial catheters
  • Nerve block experience is helpful but not mandatory
  • Must be able to do OB for labor epidurals and c-sections with spinal
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS
• NBCRNA certification
• Case Logs: 75 cases within the last 12 months
• MI license only
