Description

A healthcare organization located in Rutland is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative anesthesia care team. This opportunity offers the ability to work in a supportive clinical environment providing anesthesia services for a variety of surgical and procedural cases.

Position Overview

The CRNA will provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. The provider will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management throughout the perioperative process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia patient assessments and review medical histories
  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
  • Monitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
  • Manage airway support and anesthesia induction and emergence
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patient recovery
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and quality care

Requirements General Requirements
  • Master s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Active or eligible Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Vermont
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices, pharmacology, and patient monitoring
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
  • Commitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical experience in hospital-based anesthesia care
  • Experience with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia techniques
  • Familiarity with modern anesthesia equipment and monitoring technology
