Clinical Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
  • Manage a broad range of emergency presentations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary emergency medicine team
  • Provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine residency required
  • Active Washington, DC medical license
  • Active DEA
  • Active DC Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
  • AHA life support certifications required
  • ACLS not required if Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

Credentialing

  • Temporary privileges available
  • DC license may be in process during credentialing
