Facility Maintenance Technician Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician Department: Facilities Management Location: Plano, TX Position Summary The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general building maintenance and repair work to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role supports daily operations by troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other facility-related issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems, including: Lighting fixtures and bulbs Electrical outlets and switches Plumbing systems, pipes, faucets, sinks, and toilets HVAC equipment and air conditioning systems Doors, locks, windows, and office furniture Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees and departments. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, offices, production areas, break rooms, and restrooms. Troubleshoot facility issues and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary. Perform basic carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks. Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and repair reports. Support facility improvement and renovation projects. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours facility support when needed. Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
