COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client maintains a large fleet of many more brands as well. Our client sells trailer accessories, pumps and cam-lock hoses, safety equipment and accessories, as well as concrete tools and moving supplies.

POSITION TITLE: General Manager

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE + bonus

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with Operations and Construction Manager to manage policy deployment in the areas of quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, and performance measures.
Work closely with Sales team to ensure targeting correct market, product, and price to achieve set goals.
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development.
Partners with Safety Manager to support employee training, compliance, and OSHA standards are met.
Provides leadership for problem resolution both internal with employees and external with escalated client service concerns to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand; order materials as needed.
Oversee operations finances including accounts payable, reviewing and approving client invoices, assisting with collections, and managing employee payroll.
Ensure effective onboarding of new employees including all new hire forms required.
Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Construction industry experience
Rental experience, preferably construction-related rental, access, scaffolding, or another closely related service
Branch management or General Manager experience
Experience managing both field and office employees
Operations and day-to-day branch responsibility
Customer/client relationship experience
Some involvement with sales and business development
Financial responsibility, including budgets, AP, invoicing, collections, payroll, or P&L
Safety and OSHA/compliance exposure
Experience managing inventory, equipment, materials, and/or fleet
Strong leadership and employee management skills
