CNC Setup Operator

Cyber Aerospace Corp. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Set-up Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for machine setup, tooling installation, basic CNC program adjustments, troubleshooting, and supporting production to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Set up CNC machines, tooling, fixtures, and workholding for production.
Verify machine settings and ensure equipment is operating within specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and setup documentation.
Perform basic CNC program edits and offset adjustments when necessary.
Measure materials and verify dimensions before production.
Troubleshoot setup and machining issues to minimize downtime.
Record setup data and report equipment or process issues.
Support Engineers and Production Supervisors during setup and production.
Perform light deburring without affecting part dimensions or critical surfaces.
Follow all quality standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
2+ years of CNC setup or manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of machining tools, measuring instruments, and indicators.
Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
Basic understanding of CNC program edits and machine parameter adjustments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Vietnamese-speaking candidates are preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CNC Mills or Lathes.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
Familiar with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
Understanding of first article inspection (FAI) and quality requirements.
Physical Requirements
Able to stand for extended periods.
Frequently lift up to 40 lbs.
Work safely around manufacturing equipment.
