Job Description: Job Description Agency Relationship Manager/ Property & Casualty Job Overview We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, has a passion for underwriting, and can confidently work with agency partners to grow profitable business. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and brings the credibility that comes from a strong underwriting background. The Agency Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with independent insurance agencies throughout Florida. This role focuses on recruiting new agency partners, supporting existing agencies, and serving as the primary point of contact for underwriting guidance, agency development, and business growth. Extensive underwriting knowledge of Florida homeowners insurance is required. The ideal candidate has a strong underwriting background, understands agency operations, and enjoys building relationships while helping agencies write profitable business. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing agencies.Serve as the primary underwriting resource for agency partners, providing guidance on underwriting guidelines, eligibility, and company appetite.Educate agencies on company products, underwriting requirements, and business processes.Monitor agency production and quoting activity while identifying opportunities for profitable growth.Partner with internal departments to resolve agency concerns and ensure a positive agency experience.Assist with onboarding newly appointed agencies, including training and the company at agency visits, meetings, and industry events.Perform other duties as assigned. SkillsExtensive underwriting experience in Florida homeowners insurance is required.Minimum of 4years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, including underwriting and agency relationship management.Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, risk evaluation, and agency 2-20 General Lines License preferred.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Willingness to travel throughout Florida (50%-75%).
