Radiology Physician

This Diagnostic Radiology Locum Tenens position is located in Indiana.

Location: 1 hour from Indianapolis, IN (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: January 2026 June 2026 (potential to extend)
Reason for coverage: Covering PTO for perm providers
Schedule: Monday Friday (optional nights and weekends)

• January 5 th to January 9 th
• January 12 th to January 16th
• January 26 th to January 30 th
• February 9 th to February 13th
• February 23 rd to February 27 th
• March 9 th to March13th
• March 23 rd to March 27 th
• April 20th to April 24th
• April 27 th to May 1 st
• May 18 th to May 22nd
• June 1 st to June 5 th
• June 22 nd to June 26th

Shift: Monday Friday 8a-4p Monday Friday 7p-10p, and 12p 5p (weekends)
Call: N/A
Patient volume: 260-290 per day (split between 2 FT Mon-Friday day shift, 1 remote day shift, and 1 evening shift)
General Radiology: per day Monday- Friday is typically 80 to 100 studies, weekends are approximately 40 studies per Saturday and Sunday
o CT: 60 to 70 studies Monday - Friday and 35 to 40 studies on Saturday and Sundays
o MRI-: 20 to 23 Monday - Friday, weekends Saturdays 10-14, Sundays a tech is on call typically 2-4 MRI studies.
o US= 30 to 35 scans Monday- Friday and 12 on Saturday and Sundays
o Mammography= 30 Monday- Friday
Scope: General Diagnostic Radiology (Mammo is a plus, but not required)
EMR: Meditech expanse, PACS McKessen Change Healthcare, M Modal/Fluency voice recognition
Hospital: 93 bed non-profit hospital
Group/support: 1 additional day provider, 1 night provider
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified or truly Board Eligible with Indiana or Compact license
Rates: Negotiable
