Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • Shift hours vary according to daily assignment: 6:15 AM - 4:45 PM, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Full-time only position consisting of 4-5 ten-hour shifts with no overtime

  • Medically directed model at a ratio of 1:3 (maximum 1:4)

  • Full-time coverage needed per month

  • Patients seen across all age groups

  • Work alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians to deliver high quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas

  • Wide case mix with Level I Trauma designation providing exposure to diverse and complex patient populations

  • EMR system: Epic

  • Hospital bed size: 593 beds

  • Special procedures include: Trauma, Neuro & Spine, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular & APS, NORA locations, OB/GYN, General, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Orthopedics, and Robotics

  • CRNAs perform epidurals without a doctor present; blocks are not performed by CRNAs

  • Skills required: GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, and ultrasound techniques

  • Practice setting: Hospital

  • Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist required

  • Active Pennsylvania license required

  • ACLS and PALS certifications required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred

    This is a large, full-service acute care hospital with 593 beds, offering a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services. Designated as a Level I Trauma Center, the facility supports a wide variety of complex cases across multiple specialties including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neurological, orthopedic, and robotic surgery. The anesthesia department operates within a medically directed model and utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system, reflecting a commitment to modern, efficient patient care.
