We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys within a busy private legal practice. This role combines traditional legal secretarial duties with estate planning document preparation, client service, calendar management, and probate-related administrative support. Client Details Our client is an established law firm operating within the legal services industry, known for providing estate planning, probate, trust, and related legal services to individuals and families. Description Provide administrative and legal support to two attorneys. Process attorney time entries, correspondence, and legal documentation. Transcribe dictated correspondence, time records, and legal documents. Prepare and distribute client correspondence through various delivery methods. Draft estate planning documents, including: Powers of Attorney Revocations of Power of Attorney Advance Directives HIPAA Authorizations Guardian Designations Maintain and organize client files and documentation. Schedule meetings and manage attorney calendars. Prepare post-execution client binders and closing documentation. Witness and notarize client signatures and legal document executions. Support probate-related administrative processes and electronic filings. Assist with additional duties as delegated by legal leadership. Work overtime as required to meet client and business needs. Profile Required Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Prior legal secretary or legal administrative support experience. Knowledge of probate court procedures and electronic filing systems. Strong Microsoft Office, Outlook, and document management system skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Flexibility to work additional hours when required. Preferred Experience with legal practice management and document management software. Notary Public certification or ability to obtain certification. Job Offer Competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000, dependent upon experience. Overtime eligibility in a non-exempt position.
