We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage at a newly opened emergency department in South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for ABEM-certified physicians seeking a lower-volume, single-coverage environment with flexible shift availability.
Assignment Details- Immediate coverage needs in July and August
- Must be available for at least 3 open shifts
- Ongoing opportunities may become available
Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Multiple day and night shifts available throughout July and August.
Practice Setting- Emergency Department
- Newly opened facility
- Single physician coverage
- No APP coverage
- Lower-volume community ED
- 10 treatment beds
- Approximately 13 patients per day
- Independent emergency medicine practice
- Broad-spectrum emergency care
- Low-acuity to moderate-acuity patient population
- ABEM Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician
- Active South Carolina license required
- No new graduates
- Must qualify for temporary privileges
- No malpractice history
- Ideal for physicians comfortable practicing independently
- Smaller department with manageable patient volume
