Shift:

  • 8A 8P in-house + 8P 8A beeper call
  • 1 2 weeks/month (minimum 1 week) Ongoing 9 12 months

Assignment Details:

  • Setting: Inpatient only
  • Volume: patients/day + 5 procedures
  • Support: 1 PA/NP (supervision required)
  • EMR: Epic
  • License: OK or IMLC accepted

Requirements:

  • Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology (ACGME/AOA)
  • Board Certified / Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • ERCP Experience: 200+ therapeutic, 40 sphincterotomies, 10 stent placements (past 12 months or recent grad)
  • Certifications: ACLS required
  • Credentialing: 60 days

Procedural Skills:

  • Required: Upper/Lower GI endoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic), EUS, PEG, liver biopsy, GI bleed management.
  • Preferred: Small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy.
