Location: Georgia

Schedule: Ongoing PRN shifts. Minimum commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month. 8 or 12 hour shifts. Common shift options include 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Position Overview

Urgent care coverage with a solo provider model supported by medical assistants (some sites may also have nursing support).

Providers must be willing to float within the region as needed to cover clinics.

Clinical Details

Setting: Urgent Care

Typical cases: general urgent care including testing, imaging as applicable, suturing, EKG reads, and physicals.

Patient volume: up to 4 patients per hour.

Ages seen: 2 years and older.

EMR: Experity (Velocidoc).

Required Qualifications

Family Practice or Internal Medicine (must be able to see ages 2 plus) with urgent care experience.

Board certification as applicable.

DEA required.

NPDB self query required.

Clean background and clean NPDB history required.

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Travel and Lodging

Travel and lodging support may be available for consecutive work days. Mileage support may be available based on distance.

Onboarding

Onboarding and credentialing timeline is typically about one week, plus an in clinic paid shadow shift.
