About the Opportunity

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a modern hospital laboratory performing a variety of diagnostic testing procedures across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory testing on patient specimens

  • Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently

  • Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment

  • Follow established quality control and quality assurance procedures

  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve testing issues as needed

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to support patient care

  • Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related science field

  • Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required or eligible

  • Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
