Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Real Estate practice in New York. This role is well suited for a seasoned real estate attorney with deep experience in real estate finance , particularly on the lender-side , who can independently manage complex transactions from initial structuring through closing. Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an e xcellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in New York in good standing
- 6+ years of substantive real estate transactional experience
- Significant experience with real estate financing transactions, including lender representation
- Strong background in loan document drafting, negotiation, and execution
- Experience conducting and reviewing title and survey diligence
- Proven ability to independently manage transactions from structuring through closing
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and sound commercial judgment
Key Responsibilities
- Represent lenders and other clients in complex commercial real estate transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements and related transaction documents
- Conduct title and survey review, analysis, and resolution of related issues
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on real estate financing structures and risk mitigation
- Independently manage transaction workflows, timelines, and deal execution
- Interface directly with clients , opposing counsel, and other transaction participants
- Collaborate with attorneys across related practice areas as needed

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $365,000-$425,000, as determined by experience and market factors
