Operations Associate
STRIV
Job Description: About Striv
Striv is building smart insoles that help people better understand how they move.
We believe movement data should not live only in labs or elite training environments. It should be useful, understandable, and available to everyday athletes who want to train with greater awareness and stay active for the long term.
We are a small, ambitious team working across hardware, software, AI, biomechanics, and human performance. As we prepare for launch and grow our community of early users, we are looking for someone who cares deeply about creating a thoughtful, reliable experience for every person who interacts with Striv.
The Role
We are looking for an Operations Associate based on Boston, MA to help bring the Striv experience to life.
This is a hands-on role at the center of the company. On any given day, you might help a customer troubleshoot their product, prepare a shipment for an athlete, support a community run, coordinate a product trial, or make sure the office is ready for an important partner meeting.
The work is varied, practical, and highly collaborative. At its core, this role is about taking care of the details, taking ownership, and making sure people feel supported.
You will help the team stay organized, responsive, and focused while ensuring that our customers, athletes, and partners have a strong experience with Striv from the very beginning.
What You'll Do
Events and Partnerships
Support product demos, run clubs, conferences, launch events, athlete sessions, and community activations
Prepare products, equipment, signage, attendee lists, and event materials
Help customers and athletes with fitting, onboarding, and product setup
Track feedback, leads, and follow-ups after events
Coordinate product trials with athletes, coaches, creators, researchers, and partners
Help create a welcoming and well-organized experience at every Striv event
Customer Experience
Respond to customer questions with care, patience, and urgency
Help resolve issues related to setup, sizing, charging, Bluetooth, the app, and data syncing
Manage returns, replacements, refunds, and shipping issues
Track each issue through resolution and ensure customers feel supported
Keep FAQs, onboarding materials, and support guides up to date
Share recurring customer feedback with the product and engineering teams
Shipping and Inventory
Prepare and ship products to customers, athletes, key opinion leaders, partners, researchers, and testers
Track inventory, demo units, batteries, accessories, and replacements
Manage delivery details and follow up when shipments require attention
Maintain clear records of where products are and who is using them
Help improve the systems behind fulfillment and inventory management as the company grows
Office and Team Support
Manage office supplies, deliveries, product storage, mail, and day-to-day logistics
Support team coordination, meetings, and new-hire setup
Help create an organized and positive in-person working environment
Take ownership of operational projects as new needs arise
Who You Are
You have 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, customer support, logistics, project coordination, hospitality, retail, or an early-stage startup
Ability to work on-site in Boston, MA, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You are organized, reliable, and attentive to details
You follow through and do not let important tasks fall through the cracks
You care about people and take pride in creating a strong customer experience
You are comfortable moving between customer-facing work and hands-on operational tasks
You can manage several priorities while staying calm and responsive
You communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership
You are willing to step in wherever needed to help the team succeed
You are genuinely interested in sports, health, wearables, movement, or consumer technology
Helpful Experience
Shipping, fulfillment, inventory, or hardware operations
Customer support, beta programs, or consumer product launches
Events, run clubs, athlete programs, creators, or key opinion leader coordination
Proficiency with standard office software and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management platforms)
Experience as a collegiate student-athlete is highly preferred
Why Join Striv
This is an opportunity to join Striv at an early and exciting stage, when your work will genuinely shape the company. You will work closely with the founding team, contribute across many parts of the business, and help create the experience we want our customers, partners, and team to have.
We are a small, thoughtful, and ambitious team that cares deeply about the work and about one another.
We move quickly, help each other out, and value people who take ownership, bring positive energy, and are willing to jump in wherever needed. There is plenty to build, but also plenty of room to grow, learn, and make the role your own.
We are looking for someone who finds satisfaction in bringing order to complexity, making things run smoothly, helping people feel cared for, and building the foundation for something with long-term impact.
The salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$68,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
