• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Call: Must be able to take weekday call from 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM when needed

License & Certification Requirements

Required:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (required at submission)
• ACLS
• PALS

Not Required:

• DEA

Clinical Responsibilities

• Hospital-based anesthesia coverage
• Must be proficient in regional (nerve block) anesthesia due to a high orthopedic surgery volume
• Provide anesthesia for:
  • Vascular
  • OB/GYN
  • General Surgery
  • GI
  • Pediatrics
  • Plastics
  • Orthopedics
  • Robotics
  • Urology
• Required skills:
  • MAC
  • Regional anesthesia
  • Spinal anesthesia
  • Ultrasound-guided techniques

Practice Details

• Setting: Hospital
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Size: 135 beds
• Patient population: All ages
• Patient volume varies by anesthetizing location
• Anesthesiologists supervise a 1:3 CRNA-to-room ratio

Additional Highlights

• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Strong regional anesthesia experience is required for consideration
