Production Technician (Equipment Shop)

Join a well-established equipment manufacturer supporting critical pumping and fluid management operations. This position is responsible for operating production equipment and assisting with the fabrication and preparation of PVC and plastic pipe components used in specialized equipment assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals with manufacturing, machine operation, construction, or shop experience who enjoy hands-on work in a production environment. Responsibilities: Load PVC and plastic pipe materials into production equipment Operate an automated slotting machine to prepare pipe components Cut materials to size using a chop saw and similar shop equipment Glue and assemble pipe components according to production requirements Drill holes and prepare finished components using a drill press Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with other production and shop duties as needed Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing, production, shop, construction, warehouse, or skilled labor environment Comfortable working with hand and power tools Experience operating production equipment or machinery is a plus Experience using saws, drills, drill presses, or similar tools is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
