Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Indianapolis, IN

Overview:
Our outpatient dialysis center is seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive hemodialysis care while building long-term relationships with patients. Our supportive interdisciplinary team offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a consistent three-day work schedule in a single-site location.

Position Offers:

  • Three-day work schedule
  • Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday schedule
  • Hours: 5:00 AM 8:00 PM
  • Pay starting at $40/hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments, including vital signs, fluid status, and overall clinical condition
  • Administer prescribed hemodialysis treatments and accurately document patient care
  • Assess, cannulate, and manage vascular access sites while monitoring for treatment complications
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary team
  • Administer dialysis-related medications and provide patient and family education on dialysis, medications, diet, fluid restrictions, and self-management
  • Interpret patient assessments and lab results to support safe, effective care while following infection prevention and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a high standard of clinical quality, patient safety, and patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
  • Current, unrestricted Indiana RN license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience in outpatient hemodialysis or nephrology nursing, including vascular access management and medication administration
  • Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • CNN or CDN certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire; EHR and quality improvement experience preferred
