Surgery - Vascular Physician

ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for an ongoing hospital-based opportunity in Youngstown, Ohio . This is an excellent assignment for physicians who enjoy managing complex vascular cases in a collaborative Level I Trauma Center while maintaining a predictable monthly schedule. Beginning in September 2026 , you'll provide essential inpatient coverage as part of an established surgical program.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Youngstown, Ohio
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based, 100% inpatient
• Coverage Start: September 15, 2026
• Schedule: One consecutive five-day coverage block per month with shared call and possible weekend coverage
• Ongoing Need: Yes
• Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
• Average Patient Volume: patients per day
• Trauma Center: Level I
• EMR: Epic
• Support: Established hospital team providing collaborative inpatient care

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform vascular surgical procedures
• Inpatient rounding and hospital consultations
• Emergency Department vascular consults
• Coverage of inpatient vascular surgery service
• Shared call responsibilities with approximately a 1:5 call rotation and minimal callback burden

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of Vascular Surgery Fellowship
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ohio medical license preferred
• Clean malpractice and licensure history required
• NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of submission
