Skilled Electrician to support field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems across various job sites in the greater Jacksonville Florida area.


This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-focused professional who is comfortable traveling to job sites and working hands-on in the field, and interpreting complex electrical plans and specifications.


What Youll Do as an Electrician:

As an Electrician, youll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems including conduit layouts, distribution equipment, and power systems. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification.


Electrician Duties Include:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications

  • Laying out and installing conduit systems (underground and in-dock)

  • Installing and terminating conductors, cables, transformers, and distribution panels

  • Receiving, organizing, and managing materials on job sites

  • Using power tools to drill, cut, and modify materials such as steel and concrete

  • Troubleshooting electrical systems for faults, shorts, and voltage issues

  • Installing and troubleshooting kilowatt-hour meters

  • Utilizing testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and power quality analyzers

  • Connecting and adjusting single and three-phase transformers

  • Planning work activities and ordering materials in advance

  • Traveling to various job sites as needed (up to 50% travel during peak times)

  • Maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and participating in drug-free workplace programs


What Were Looking For in an Electrician:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2 years of electrical experience or equivalent training

  • Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license required

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and testing equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics

  • Experience with marine, dock, or waterfront electrical systems is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Dependable with consistent attendance and work ethic

  • Travel to different job sites as needed
