Customer Engagement Specialist
Berkshire Search Partners
Industry: Medical Aesthetics / Medical Technology
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Type: Outbound Sales / Lead Generation
About the Opportunity
Our client is a global leader in the medical aesthetics industry, with operations across the United States, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The company develops innovative, non-invasive aesthetic technology platforms and award-winning treatment brands that have become recognized standards in the laser aesthetics market.
We are looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) to join the sales organization and play a key role in generating new business opportunities.
This is an outbound sales and lead-generation position for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and creating opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing customers and will help connect qualified opportunities with the sales consultants who ultimately manage the sales process.
This is not a closing role. Your success will come from generating conversations, uncovering genuine interest, qualifying prospects, and creating high-quality opportunities for the sales team.
What You'll Do
Outbound Sales & Prospecting
Make high-volume outbound calls to physicians, MedSpas, aesthetic practices, and other potential customers.
Identify and engage decision-makers and navigate gatekeepers professionally.
Introduce the company's innovative aesthetic technology at a high level.
Re-engage existing customers to uncover opportunities for upgrades, replacements, or additional systems.
Build rapport quickly and create positive first impressions with prospective customers.
Lead Qualification
Ask thoughtful questions to understand a prospect's practice, needs, timing, budget, and level of interest.
Determine whether an opportunity meets established qualification criteria.
Accurately document conversations, outcomes, and opportunity details in Salesforce or another CRM.
Provide Aesthetic Consultants and Executive Aesthetic Consultants with complete, actionable information.
Ensure qualified opportunities are handed off quickly and effectively.
Pipeline Development
Maintain consistent outbound activity and follow-up.
Manage follow-up schedules so promising opportunities don't fall through the cracks.
Work closely with sales leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and qualification strategies.
Help create a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales organization.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations with people they don't know, and staying persistent when they hear "no."
The ideal candidate will have:
1 3 years of experience in outbound sales, inside sales, business development, lead generation, appointment setting, or a call-center environment.
Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
Confidence speaking with physicians, business owners, practice managers, and other decision-makers.
A competitive, goal-oriented mindset and the resilience to work through rejection.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
The ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-up activities.
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred.
Medical device, healthcare technology, aesthetics, or B2B sales experience is a plus.
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
This could be a great fit for someone coming from a:
BDR/SDR position
Inside Sales role
Outbound Sales position
Appointment Setter role
Lead Generation position
B2B Call Center environment
Medical Device or Healthcare Sales role
Customer Engagement or Business Development position
You don't have to be an experienced medical aesthetics professional. We can teach you the technology and industry. What matters most is your ability to communicate, prospect, qualify, stay organized, and consistently create opportunities.
Why This Role Matters
The Customer Engagement Specialist is the engine that fuels the sales pipeline. Every qualified opportunity you create gives the field sales team another opportunity to demonstrate the company's technology and ultimately grow the business.
If you enjoy a fast-paced sales environment, like talking to people, and are motivated by measurable goals and results, this is an opportunity to build your sales career with a recognized leader in medical aesthetics.
If you're a driven sales professional who wants to get your foot in the door with an innovative medical technology company, we'd love to hear from you.
