Specialized General Services is building local 1099 shopping cart recovery coverage across Alabama. Service areas include Birmingham/Gadsden/Anniston, Huntsville/Decatur, Montgomery/Prattville, Tuscaloosa/Northport, Auburn/Opelika, Dothan/Wiregrass and Mobile/Baldwin County. Apply for the area near your home; this does not require statewide travel. Actual store assignments depend on coverage needs.
A contractor may serve multiple nearby stores when travel, service frequency and available capacity support it. Tell us your specific towns, travel radius and reliable days.
The work: locate carts around assigned retail stores, load and secure them, return them as directed and submit GPS-stamped photos and notes by smartphone. Allow at least one hour per assigned visit.
Provide your own pickup truck, or tow-capable SUV and suitable cart trailer. Requirements include your own valid drivers license, current vehicle insurance, smartphone/data and safe cart handling. Our office reviews background and driving records before placement.
Pay is $40 per completed local work order / $80 per completed remote work order. Confirmed assignments determine days and local/remote classification; no minimum volume is guaranteed.
