Specialized General Services is recruiting local 1099 shopping cart recovery contractors for Pennsylvania store coverage. Areas of interest include Harrisburg/Carlisle and nearby south-central communities, Philadelphia and nearby Pennsylvania suburbs, and Pittsburgh/western Pennsylvania. The urgent East Stroudsburg one-store opening has its own separate listing.
Apply for a realistic area near your home; willingness to travel statewide is not required. Specific store locations, travel distances and required visit frequencies determine the assignment. One person may handle multiple nearby stores if the confirmed schedule and workload allow it.
Work involves locating carts around assigned retail stores, safely loading and returning them, and documenting recoveries with GPS-stamped photos and visit notes. Allow at least one hour for an assigned store visit.
Pay: $40 per completed local work order / $80 per completed remote work order, with exact assignments and classification confirmed first. No guaranteed volume. This is independent contractor work using your own suitable pickup truck or tow-capable SUV and trailer.
Requirements: your own valid drivers license, current vehicle insurance, reliable cart-carrying setup, smartphone/data and safe cart loading ability. Office background and driving-record review is required before placement.
