Are you a Pediatrics physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in California might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 5 days per week, 4 weeks per month (full-time); No call; 8 guaranteed hours per day; overtime applies after 9 hours per day
  • Job Setting: Outpatient clinic only
  • Types of Cases: General Pediatrics; average of 25 patients per day; high-demand clinic serving a socioeconomically challenged community; high no-show rate (scheduling adjusted accordingly)
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Call: No call
  • Preferred Skills: EKG interpretation, suturing of minor lacerations, bilingual (Spanish speaking)
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 1 day; no temporary privileges available; provider will need to submit application for payor credentialing (CPPA, driver's license, social security card, MD Masters and Bachelors degree certificates, Medical Board of CA wall certificate or pocket card, DEA, current malpractice document)
Minimum Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency
  • Certifications: BLS required
  • Licensure: Active California license required (no IMLC accepted); DEA required
