HVAC or HVAC/R Technician

HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN DIVISION & DEPARTMENT: Gault Energy & Home Solutions, Service Department JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and Connecticut licensing requirements. This role works independently from a service vehicle while collaborating closely with dispatch, field supervisors, and teammates to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality service. The technician takes full ownership of assigned calls, prioritizes jobsite and customer safety, documents work performed, coordinates warranty and technical support needs, presents repair recommendations and quotes, and collects payment-while serving as a brand ambassador for Gault Family Companies. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 100% field work. Working inside climbing up and down stairs to basements, attics, crawl spaces and other tight and confined spaces. Working outside in all weather conditions. Climbing and working from ladders. Driving a service vehicle to calls, getting in and out of a truck and getting tool and materials in and out of truck. Working with and exposed to hazardous materials daily. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, twisting, lifting and pulling of parts and equipment. Must have the ability to lift and/or move items up to 85 pounds. The position requires employee to regularly talk and hear.
