Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition and utilities primarily in the Midwest/Central US region. Responsibilities and Duties:Estimating and project management of the heavy civil scopes for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage facilities, etc.).Navigates and understands cost accounting for ongoing projects including daily/weekly cost verifications, review/confirmation of daily logs, change orders, monthly project cost projections, approving project invoicing, etc.Perform all necessary project communications with clients, field staff, office support staff and management.Maintain necessary estimating and project files.Assist with mentoring junior estimator/project managers and seasonal interns.Training and assisting with coordination of interns performing takeoffs and other miscellaneous support tasks.Preparing take-offs for civil construction projects.Manage and monitor project billings and collections, attending project meetings, representing Rachel Contracting with client/customers/vendors, subcontractors, coordinating/directing field staff as necessary, and complete project continuous marketing of existing company clients and assist with efforts to generate/develop new client Requirements: Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of civil or construction-related experience required; college degree preferred but not requiredStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsProven ability to lead teams effectively in challenging and fast-paced environmentsPositive, solutions-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to collaboration and successDemonstrated reliability, initiative, and strong follow-through on responsibilities and commitmentsStrong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detailSelf-motivated professional with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectivelyAbility and willingness to travel occasionally as needed We Offer:Competitive SalaryComprehensive Medical, HSA, Dental and Life Insurance401(k) Plan with Employer Match ComponentPerformance-based incentive bonusesCompany Vehicle Provided (or Vehicle Allowance possible)Paid Time Off (PTO) Starting Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000Equal Opportunity Employer: Rachel Contracting is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
