Neurosurgery Locums Job in Pennsylvania Level I Trauma August + Ongoing Coverage

One of our partnering facilities in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon for locum tenens coverage due to vacancy. Coverage will begin in August and is expected to be ongoing for 7-14 days per month. Candidates with an active PA license or IMLC are encouraged to apply!

Available Dates:
August 8-21, 2026 + ongoing TBD
Mix of 24-hour call, 7am-7pm, and some 7am-7am shifts

Clinical Scope:
24-hour call, 7am-7pm and some shifts 7am-7am
Procedures/Case mix: Craniotomies, Spinal trauma, Brain & spine tumors, Spine infections
Volume: 2-6 consults while on call, 4 emergent cases per week
Daily Expectations: 1-2 hours of rounding per day, 3 hours of callback per 24-hr shift
Call: Backup/2nd call for spine (stroke call covered by Neurologist)
No APP supervision

Requirements:
MD/DO
Board Certified Neurosurgery
Comfortable with Level I/II trauma
Fellowship not required
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC
