Pain Management Nurse Practitioner

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant

• Start date: Mid-August 2026
• Private practice setting with a focus on personal injury patients
• Brand new office opening in The Plaza area of Kansas City in June or July 2026
• Established organization with three additional locations
• New graduates welcome
• Ideal experience includes pain management, orthopedics, spine, or procedural medicine
• Willing to train the right candidate, including a strong new graduate
• Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus, but not required
• Perform joint injections and trigger point injections
• Training available for procedures
• Patient population consists exclusively of personal injury cases
• This is a patient-focused, evidence-based interventional pain management practice with an emphasis on identifying the source of each patient's pain and developing individualized treatment plans
• The practice is not centered on chronic opioid prescribing. When clinically appropriate, medication management may include non-opioid therapies such as anti-inflammatory medications or muscle relaxers
• Treatment recommendations, including procedures, are based on each patient's symptoms, physical examination, imaging, and clinical needs-not simply because a patient was referred through a personal injury case
• Referral sources include surgeons, medical professionals, and attorneys
• Work alongside a physician and a part-time nurse practitioner
• Supported by APPs, medical assistants, and a full clinical staff
