Pathology Physician

We are seeking a Pathologist for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital-based anatomic pathology setting. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities.

Assignment Details:

• Start: July 2026
• Ongoing coverage
• Single-site hospital setting

Schedule:

• Monday Friday
• 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• No call
• No weekends

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based anatomic pathology
• EMR: Meditech
• Support staff available

Work Details:

• General surgical pathology
• Cytopathology
• Frozen section interpretation
• Basic clinical pathology

Procedures / Skills:

• Frozen sections (on-site)
• Grossing (with tech support; occasional backup required)

Additional Details:

• No autopsies required
• Majority case mix includes GI pathology
• Cytology/FNA experience preferred
• Backup pathologist and outside lab support available

Support Staff:

• Dedicated grossing technician

Requirements:

• Physician (MD/DO)
• Comfortable with general pathology workflow and frozen sections
